“We love what we do, we hope you choose to make your mark on the world with us and get involved.”

Stuart Rees-Jones, Founder of Camps International

Oscar and Laura (us), who attend different schools, independently decided to sign up for Camps International trips to Kenya and Cambodia.  Each of them needs to raise money to go on volunteering trips to help improve the lives of those in the countries visited, improving the environment, building infrastructure or helping in any other way.

They have decided to help each other raise funds, and the Holt May Market is one of a series of events they are planning towards that goal. The money gained from running the events will be split between them.

The stallholders at the Holt May Market are mostly independent businesses and we are very grateful for their commitment. We hope you can come to the event and support them , and make it a worthwhile day for all.

She will play an important role in helping to reforest damaged parts of this landscape to encourage some of the world’s most endangered wildlife to return. She will also help Camps International build homes for those families who need them in villages.

Oscar is visiting Kenya in summer 2019.

Human-wildlife conflict is an ongoing and significant issue here, threatening the future for many important species such as elephants and lions. He'll get involved in initiatives to promote a peaceful co-existence between the community and the local wildlife, like improving natural waterholes and planting indigenous trees to safeguard the future for these wonderful animals.
